Cooper is now an Applied Certified Partner. For agencies and brokerages on products of Applied Epic, that makes it easier than ever to bring AI into their work. Epic connectivity is included, and getting started is streamlined.
Cooper works within Applied Systems and the processes teams have spent years refining: how accounts are documented, how responsibilities are assigned, and how work is reviewed. Teams don't have to change how they operate. Cooper takes on the manual work of moving information between systems.
That time goes back to what matters most: serving clients, exercising judgment, and growing the business. We believe an insurance professional's capacity to grow should reflect their expertise, not the time left over after manual work.
What this means for Applied Epic customers
- Epic connectivity comes included with Cooper. There is no Applied Systems API purchase required and no separate Cooper-to-Epic integration for your team to build or manage.
- Getting started is even easier. For most customers, it takes one contract from Applied Systems, and Cooper handles the technical setup from there.
- Less re-keying, fewer handoffs. Cooper uses what is already in Epic to automate submissions, proposals, servicing, and renewals, then writes supported updates back so the account record stays current.
- Epic stays your system of record. Cooper works alongside Epic, not in place of it, so your team keeps the processes and oversight it already trusts.
- Already using Cooper with Epic? You can move onto the certified connection, and Cooper will handle the transition with you.
Bringing AI into the flow of work
Applied Epic sits at the center of operations for many insurance organizations. Cooper works across the workflows surrounding it, from submission through servicing: reading documents, completing applications and online raters, preparing proposals and coverage comparisons, and handling renewals and endorsements.
With the Applied Epic integration, Cooper can write completed work back into Epic after supported workflows are complete. Teams review the work while Cooper handles the updates required to keep the account record current, reducing re-entry and the operational work that happens between systems.
The result is not another tool for insurance professionals to manage. It is an AI coworker that can operate within the systems and processes their teams already use.
“Applied Epic is at the heart of how many agencies operate. Our partnership with Applied makes it easier to bring Cooper directly into those workflows and give insurance professionals more capacity to put their expertise to work. When those teams can spend more time advising clients and helping businesses secure the right coverage, everyone benefits.”

Built for trust and reliability
Bringing AI into core insurance workflows requires more than connectivity. It requires integrations organizations can rely on.
Through Applied's Vendor Certification Program, Applied reviewed Cooper's integration and data handling. Cooper also gains access to current Epic releases and works directly with Applied, with access to Applied support, to keep the integration reliable as the platform evolves.
For Applied Epic customers, that means a more direct path to activating Cooper and an integration they can count on as Epic changes.
For us, this milestone is another step toward a simple goal: give insurance professionals more time for judgment, relationships, and growth.
